Activities & Recruitment

Business Achievement Awards

Membership Mania is a great recruiting tool for our chapters.

Charter Middle Level

Last year our chapter was able to charter a FBLA Middle School Level at Stella Mayfield Elementary. English teacher Jennifer Smith will be overseeing the middle school level as their advisor. This will help students prepare for FBLA at the high school level.

Competition

Members enjoy the chance to compete at Regional, State and National Conferences while making new friends from across the nation. They enjoy the sense of accomplishment that they receive from each competition.

Local Member Recruitment

One of our main goals listed in our POW this year was recruitment of new members including freshman and other business students. Current members are given incentives to recruit new members through prizes and fundraising offers that go towards their FBLA account. Since our FBLA chapter has a good reputation, we maintain a high level of students wanting to participate in FBLA. By keeping our chapter top of the line, we encourage students each year to join our FBLA chapter.

Professional Members

Chapter members were able to recruit four professional members this year. These business leaders partner with our chapter for projects throughout the year.
